UI/UX Designer (225-806)

The UI/UX Designer is a creative professional responsible for defining the user experience and visual aesthetics of digital products. This role involves understanding user behavior and using design principles to create visually appealing and functional interfaces that enhance user engagement and satisfaction. A pivotal bridge between the user, the technology, and the business, the UI/UX Designer must balance strategic thinking with creative execution. With a focus on usability, interaction design, and visual consistency, the designer will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the product aligns with business goals and user needs. A successful candidate will carry exceptional communication skills, a deep understanding of user-centric design principles, and rich experience in iterative design processes, including gathering user feedback, prototyping, and analytics integration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to enhance product design and functionality.
• Design intuitive user interfaces and ensure consistency across digital platforms and products.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to define and implement innovative solutions.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness issues) across different devices and platforms.
• Develop personas, user scenarios, and user journey maps to understand target user motivations and behaviors.
• Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure high-level consistency across products.
• Design and conduct usability testing and gather detailed feedback to improve design and functionality.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in UI/UX design and closely related fields.
• Prepare and present design strategy and deliverables to colleagues, stakeholders, and potential users.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and effectively.
• Manage design projects from concept to delivery, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• Proven UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and skills.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and interaction design standards.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex design concepts.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is highly desirable.
• Ability to prioritize, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
