Job Description

A Telesales Executive plays a crucial role in the sales department of a business, responsible for generating sales through direct phone contact with potential customers. With excellent communication and negotiation skills, a Telesales Executive works towards achieving both individual and team sales targets, while also building and maintaining strong customer relationships. This position requires the ability to effectively convey product features and benefits, handle customer objections, and close sales confidently. Responsibilities

  • Make outgoing sales calls to prospective customers to generate new business opportunities.
  • Communicate product offerings clearly and efficiently to potential clients via telephone.
  • Identify customer needs and tailor sales pitches to maximize success potential.
  • Handle customer queries and objections with professionalism and confidence.
  • Close sales on the phone and achieve or exceed monthly sales targets consistently.
  • Maintain and update customer databases with details of client calls and sales leads.
  • Develop and sustain long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results and coordinate sales efforts.
  • Participate in sales meetings to provide updates and insights for strategic planning.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitors' activities to inform sales strategies.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding customer needs and concerns for product improvement.
  • Uphold company standards while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a telesales role, with a successful track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a clear, articulate telephone manner.
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills to influence potential customers effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good understanding of CRM software and database management for tracking sales activities.
  • Resilience and tenacity to handle rejection and continue making calls with enthusiasm.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in sales preferred.
