Job Description

The role of a Social Media Executive is pivotal in today's digital-first economy, tasked with the creation and management of vibrant, engaging online personas for brands across a variety of social media platforms. This position demands creativity, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of current trends to effectively tailor content that resonates with diverse audiences. A Social Media Executive is responsible for maintaining the brand’s image, driving engagement, growing the audience base, and ultimately increasing brand awareness through well-thought-out social media strategies. Working closely with marketing and content teams, the Social Media Executive will collaborate on all aspects of social media management, from concept creation and execution to analytics and reporting. This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to analyze data to inform future social media strategies.


Responsibilities

  • Create and implement compelling social media strategies aligned with marketing goals.
  • Develop engaging content for social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
  • Manage and monitor social media accounts, responding to comments and messages promptly.
  • Track and report on social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Collaborate with content creators to produce visually appealing graphics and videos.
  • Stay current with emerging social media trends and integrate them into strategies.
  • Analyze competitors’ social media strategies to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Run regular social promotions and campaigns and track their success.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all social media messages and posts.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to align brand messaging and promotional efforts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with influencers and brand advocates.
  • Utilize social media tools to automate posts and monitor social media activity efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience managing social media platforms for a brand or organization.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective nuances.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to utilize analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of social strategies.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Canva.
  • Experience with social media management tools like Hootsuite or Buffer is a plus.
