Job Description

The Sales Support Executive is a pivotal member of the sales team, responsible for providing critical support that helps maintain the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales operations. This role involves working closely with sales representatives, ensuring that orders are processed correctly and clients are provided with the necessary information for their orders and inquiries. The Sales Support Executive is tasked with handling various administrative duties, from maintaining customer databases and preparing sales reports to managing correspondence between sales teams and their clients. This position offers an opportunity to be directly involved with multiple facets of sales operations, requiring exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of sales-related documents and materials.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to ensure consistent updates on sales activities.
  • Manage customer inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses and solutions.
  • Update and maintain customer databases with current and accurate information.
  • Track sales orders, ensuring all details are accurate and processed efficiently.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and performance metrics for management review.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to maintain smooth order fulfillment processes.
  • Support marketing efforts by contributing to sales promotional activities and events.
  • Handle logistical arrangements for sales meetings and client presentations.
  • Monitor product inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for stock management.
  • Facilitate the timely delivery of products and services to customers.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team to optimize their performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a sales support or administrative role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and adapt to varying work demands.
  • Experience in using CRM software to track sales activities and customer data.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
