Job Description

As an Inventory Management Coordinator, you will be the driving force behind the seamless operation of our inventory systems, ensuring that every item is accounted for and that stock levels meet consumer demands. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the delicate balance between supply and demand, optimizing inventory processes, and reducing excess costs associated with stocking. You will collaborate closely with warehouse staff, logistics teams, and supply chain managers to forecast inventory needs and develop strategic plans for improvement. Your analytical skills will be vital in evaluating inventory trends and replenishment strategies to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy within the inventory management lifecycle.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to minimize overstock and stockout situations.
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to forecast future inventory needs accurately.
  • Develop and implement inventory control processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and resolve any inconsistencies found.
  • Coordinate with the procurement department to align purchasing strategies with inventory requirements.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and suggest improvements to current processes.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on inventory status and forecasted needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations regarding inventory management.
  • Utilize inventory management software to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Work closely with production teams to manage inventory for just-in-time production strategies.
  • Train and support staff on the inventory management processes and systems.
  • Foster good working relationships with vendors to ensure timely ordering and reception of goods.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory management, logistics, or a related role.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy in data handling.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage complex inventory processes.
  • Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work independently and make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment.
