Job Description

The HR Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources department by performing administrative tasks and helping with HR-related tasks. This position involves assisting with recruitment processes, maintaining employee records, handling onboarding processes, and responding to HR inquiries. The HR Assistant is also responsible for assisting in the execution of HR programs and initiatives designed to improve workplace culture and employee satisfaction. Therefore, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential. The ideal candidate is someone who is highly motivated, adaptable, and possesses excellent communication skills to facilitate effective interaction with employees at all levels of the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the HR department in daily operations and projects.
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job posting, scheduling interviews, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate and organized employee records and HR documentation.
  • Coordinate onboarding sessions to introduce new hires to company policies and culture.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and refer them to appropriate HR personnel for assistance.
  • Support the HR team in the planning and execution of HR-related initiatives.
  • Help organize employee engagement activities and other HR events.
  • Assist with the creation and updating of HR policies and procedures manual.
  • Collect and process employee data, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Provide assistance in the management of HRIS and other HR-related software systems.
  • Support payroll processing by preparing and verifying relevant documentation.
  • Assist with managing performance review schedules and feedback collection.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience or internship in HR or administrative roles preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS systems.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks.
