Job Description

An Accountant & Admin is a highly versatile role that combines the responsibilities of financial management and administrative support within an organization. This position is key to maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the company. The Accountant & Admin is responsible for managing company accounts, preparing financial documentation, and providing essential administrative support to the team. This dual-role not only demands proficiency in accounting principles and practices but also requires excellent organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate is meticulous, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. Joining a dynamic team, the Accountant & Admin plays a crucial role in supporting the company’s financial department and ensuring smooth administrative operations.


Responsibilities

  • Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and Counsel.
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements and management reports.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and tax documentation.
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance with industry standards.
  • Support budget and forecasting activities and variance analysis.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies for governance.
  • Administer payroll activities ensuring compliance with governmental regulations.
  • Oversee the company’s financial data, transactions, and reporting systems.
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling, filing, and organizing tasks.
  • Coordinate and manage all office management tasks and supplier relationships.
  • Assist with project management tasks, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
  • Liaise with auditors to ensure regular monitoring is conducted throughout.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in accounting and administrative roles for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and legislation standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities needed.
  • Strong attention to detail with great analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
