Job Description

Tellecallers serve as vital links between businesses and their customers, primarily focusing on outbound and inbound communications. Their primary objective is to engage with potential or existing clients via telephone to promote products or services, address inquiries, and gather feedback. Skilled in communication and persuasion, they help maintain the company’s relationship with its customer base while driving sales and ensuring high customer satisfaction. The role demands excellent telephone etiquette, active listening skills, and the ability to handle a high volume of calls efficiently. Tellecallers must also keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions, ensuring that customer information is continually updated and accessible for reporting purposes. They play a crucial part in generating new leads, processing activities during calls, and contributing to sales targets and market research.


Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to potential customers to promote product offerings.
  • Answer incoming calls from customers and address their service-related inquiries.
  • Follow communication scripts during conversations with clients and prospects.
  • Build ongoing relationships and trust with customer accounts through open communication.
  • Record details of customer contacts and maintain a database with updated information.
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information using provided tools and resources.
  • Meet personal and team targets for call volume, quality, and sales quotas.
  • Keep track of customer preferences and suggest products tailored to their needs.
  • Participate in training sessions to improve knowledge and communication skills.
  • Inform management of recurrent customer issues or complaints for resolution.
  • Suggest improvements and offer ideas for enhancing the customer service process.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better sales results and innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant education is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a telemarketing or customer service role preferred.
  • Strong phone contact managing skills and active listening abilities.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to connect with customers.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and efficiently manage time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
