Job Description

As a Software Engineering Manager - Applications, you will take on a critical leadership role overseeing a team of talented software engineers dedicated to developing and maintaining robust applications. Your primary goal will be to ensure that the applications your team handles are designed, developed, and delivered to the highest quality standards while aligning with the broader organizational objectives. You will act as a mentor and coach, guiding your team through cutting-edge projects and ensuring they have the resources and support needed to excel. You will also collaborate with other departments to align priorities and manage application development processes to ensure the successful delivery of software solutions that meet user and business needs. Your expertise will be crucial in driving innovation, optimizing performance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within your team.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of software engineers focused on application development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development or engineering roles.
  • Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams within a software environment.
  • Strong knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies and practices.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable solutions.
  • Familiarity with application security protocols and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead a diverse team effectively.
  • Strong project management skills with a keen eye for timelines and deliverables.
