Job Description

As a Senior Supply Chain Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing our supply chain operations. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mind-set, who can develop innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of the supply chain. You will lead cross-functional teams to implement supply chain strategies, manage vendor relationships, and improve processes to meet business objectives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in supply chain systems and analytics, with exceptional leadership skills to mentor junior team members and drive change throughout the organization. Your ability to foresee potential challenges and develop contingency plans will be crucial in maintaining the smooth flow of goods and services.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance supply chain performance.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with production and logistics teams to optimize inventory management.
  • Monitor industry trends to anticipate changes and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Design and implement supply chain software solutions to improve work processes.
  • Prepare detailed reports on supply chain performance for senior management review.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers to build a high-performing supply chain team.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate advanced technologies into supply chain operations.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and environmental standards in supply chain operations.
  • Develop contingency plans to manage risks and disruptions in the supply chain.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain engineering or management.
  • Proven experience with supply chain analytics and software solutions.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Deep understanding of supply chain concepts and industry best practices.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills with stakeholders and vendors.
