Job Description

The position of Production & Quality Coordinator is critical in ensuring that products are manufactured efficiently and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and organizational skills to oversee the production processes and implement quality control measures. The Production & Quality Coordinator will act as the main liaison between the production team and upper management, ensuring that all goals and deadlines are met. They will also be responsible for helping to identify any issues in the production process and working to correct them to enhance efficiency and product quality. This role demands a detail-oriented individual who can work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor production processes to ensure operations are being conducted smoothly and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with production managers to plan and schedule production activities effectively.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols to guarantee the highest product quality.
  • Conduct regular audits of production activities to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and enhancement of efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the procurement and supply chain department to manage raw material inventory.
  • Ensure all safety regulations and health guidelines are strictly followed by the production team.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new production processes and techniques.
  • Prepare detailed reports on production costs and recommend cost-cutting measures where necessary.
  • Work with quality control to rectify any product defects and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Train and support production staff in best practices and standard operating procedures.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their product specifications and quality requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production or quality control role.
  • Strong understanding of production systems and quality assurance protocols.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data accurately.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with strict deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficiency in using relevant production management software and tools.
