Job Description

The role of a Field Service Executive is pivotal in ensuring the satisfaction and retention of customers by overseeing the timely delivery of technical services and support. As a Field Service Executive, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment, with the goal of maintaining optimal functioning for clients. You will serve as a crucial link between the company and the client, often acting as the face of the organization in the field. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently. The right candidate will be organized, proactive, and adept at problem-solving, with the ability to adapt to different situations and requirements on-site. Fostering relationships, building trust, and ensuring client satisfaction will be central to your role as you represent the company in various client locations.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure all equipment is operating efficiently.
  • Perform troubleshooting diagnostics to identify and resolve technical issues on-site.
  • Review installation plans and coordinate with clients for seamless execution.
  • Train customers on product usage and answer any questions related to equipment.
  • Provide timely reports on service performance and client feedback to management.
  • Schedule and perform visits at client sites to ensure equipment functionality.
  • Follow safety regulations and company policies while performing field services.
  • Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Keep detailed service logs and documentation of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of replacement parts.
  • Offer suggestions for product improvements based on client needs and feedback.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to provide insights to management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT, or a related technical field preferred.
  • Proven experience in field services or technical support roles required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in the field.
  • Excellent communication skills for training and interaction with clients.
  • Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting and carrying equipment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation abilities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours as required.
