Job Description

An F&B Service Expert is essential in creating an exceptional dining experience within restaurants, hotels, or catering establishments. This role requires a deep understanding of food and beverage service, including a keen eye for detail, superior organizational skills, and the ability to manage and motivate a team to deliver excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the hospitality industry, a passion for food and beverage, and the ability to provide personalized service to guests. They will also be responsible for ensuring high service standards, meeting revenue targets, and enhancing the guest experience through innovative and expert service delivery.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure the efficient and smooth operation of all food and beverage service functions.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of the service staff to ensure prompt service.
  • Train and mentor new employees to maintain quality customer service standards.
  • Monitor employee performance and provide necessary feedback and coaching.
  • Provide personalized customer service to guests and address any issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
  • Develop and implement service protocols to meet revenue and quality goals.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure the availability of necessary materials.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during service operations.
  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork and open communication.
  • Prepare regular reports on service operations and customer feedback for management review.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the guest dining experience innovatively.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in the food and beverage service industry or related role.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service operations and customer service principles.
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficiency in hospitality management software and basic computer applications.
