Job Description

The F&B (Food and Beverage) Coordinator plays a crucial role in the successful operation of the food and beverage department within a hospitality or service establishment. This position requires a dynamic and organized individual who can effectively manage and coordinate various tasks related to food and beverage services. The F&B Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all events, reservations, and services run smoothly and efficiently. They work closely with the food and beverage team to ensure guest satisfaction, uphold quality standards, and meet the operational and administrative needs of the department. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily operations of food and beverage departments to ensure efficient service.
  • Collaborate with the team to plan and execute events and special functions.
  • Manage inventory levels for food, beverages, and supplies, ensuring availability.
  • Assist in menu planning, development, and implementation to optimize offerings.
  • Maintain clear and accurate communication with kitchen and service staff.
  • Conduct regular inspections to uphold hygiene and safety standards in all areas.
  • Prepare reports and maintain documentation regarding financial and operational data.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Support the recruitment, training, and supervision of new and existing staff.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors for seamless operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and company policies at all times.
  • Assist in budget preparation and track expenses to meet financial targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in food and beverage operations, coordination, or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry best practices is crucial.
  • Proficiency in using computer software such as Microsoft Office and scheduling tools.
