Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive to ensure a pleasant dining experience.
• Assist guests with seating arrangements and manage table allocation efficiently.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar.
• Serve food and drinks promptly and precisely according to guest orders.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items and daily specials for advising guests.
• Ensure dining areas are clean and organized before, during, and after service.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints with a positive and professional attitude.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions.
• Monitor the table for replenishment of water, beverages, and condiments.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of services.
• Assist with setting up banquet rooms and refreshing conference rooms as required.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance service techniques and skills.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a food and beverage role is highly preferred.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills are essential for this role.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while multitasking effectively.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
• Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems will be beneficial.
• Team player attitude with a focus on supporting fellow staff members.
