Job Description

The Executive/Assistant Manager – Demand & Distribution Planning plays a critical role in optimizing supply chain operations and ensuring the efficient distribution of products. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to anticipate demand, manage inventory, and coordinate with multiple departments to meet business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills to foster strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams, ensuring a seamless supply chain process. Responsibilities

  • Analyze demand trends to develop accurate forecasts and align supply chain activities.
  • Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to gather market insights and future needs.
  • Develop and maintain demand planning processes and tools for improved efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and product flow.
  • Collaborate with production teams to align production schedules with demand forecasts.
  • Identify supply chain risks and develop strategic plans to mitigate potential issues.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
  • Reconcile demand forecasts with actual sales data to identify variance and adjust plans.
  • Ensure accuracy in distribution planning to meet customer service level agreements.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates to demand planning strategies as market conditions evolve.
  • Generate reports and analytics to provide insights into demand and distribution trends.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive improvements in demand and distribution processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in demand and distribution planning roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in demand planning software and ERP systems for data management.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across different departments and with external partners.
  • Experience in driving process improvements and adapting to dynamic market environments.
