Job Description

As an Application Manager – Sales Technology Systems, you will play a critical role in overseeing the sales technology applications to ensure they are efficient, effective, and aligned with business strategies. You will lead a team of IT professionals and collaborate with sales departments to ensure the technology is meeting the needs of the organization. As the primary liaison between the IT and sales departments, your expertise in both technology and sales processes will facilitate the integration and enhancement of sales applications. Your leadership and project management skills will be essential in deploying innovative solutions and managing system upgrades, integrations, and troubleshooting efforts within the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of sales technology systems and applications.
  • Lead and manage a team of IT professionals dedicated to sales technologies.
  • Collaborate with the sales department to understand their technology needs and requirements.
  • Provide strategic oversight for the implementation and integration of new sales applications.
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures to optimize application performance and security.
  • Facilitate ongoing training and support for sales personnel using these technology systems.
  • Ensure seamless integration of sales applications with other business systems and platforms.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for sales application services and software.
  • Analyze sales processes and workflows to identify opportunities for technology-driven improvements.
  • Monitor system performance and take corrective actions to address any issues or disruptions.
  • Ensure data integrity and security across all sales technology systems and applications.
  • Prepare regular reports on application performance and sales technology use trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience managing sales technology applications.
  • Proven track record of leading projects and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems and sales process automation tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience with data integration tools and techniques for sales technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address system challenges effectively.
