Job Description

The Exports Sales Manager is a pivotal role responsible for driving the international sales strategy of a company, focusing on expanding the organization's market reach and building long-lasting relationships with overseas clients. Tasked with the responsibility of increasing the company's market share in international territories, this individual will work to ensure that the business's expansion goals are met by identifying and exploring new market opportunities. The role involves close collaboration with other departments, including logistics, marketing, and finance, to ensure the smooth operation of all processes related to export sales. The Exports Sales Manager will need to exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit, coupled with strategic thinking to optimize the business's international growth potential.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive international sales strategies to boost revenue.
  • Analyze and identify potential markets and emerging trends for successful expansion.
  • Lead the recruitment, training, and management of the international sales team.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with key international clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to tailor offerings to international markets.
  • Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams for efficient product delivery.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to secure profitable business agreements.
  • Manage budget allocation and optimize resources for international marketing campaigns.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with international trading activities.
  • Attend international trade shows and conferences to network and promote the brand.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in international sales or exports management.
  • Strong understanding of international trade laws and cultural nuances.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to manage global clients.
  • Ability to travel internationally to meet clients and explore markets.
  • Proficiency in English and at least one additional foreign language preferred.
