Your Mission: Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End HTML Development: Build responsive, cross-client compatible email templates from design files (PSD, Figma, XD) using clean, semantic HTML/CSS.
• Klaviyo Mastery: Develop, test, and deploy dynamic email campaigns in Klaviyo, leveraging:
• Custom-coded templates and modules
• Personalized content blocks and dynamic logic
• AMP components and interactive elements
• Mobile-First Optimization: Ensure flawless rendering across 30+ email clients (Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail, etc.) using industry-standard techniques.
• Performance & QA: Conduct rigorous testing (Litmus/Email on Acid), optimize load times, and maintain accessibility (WCAG 2.1) standards.
• Process Innovation: Streamline production workflows for A/B tests, segmentation-driven campaigns, and automated customer journeys.
• Collaboration: Partner with designers, copywriters, and marketers to balance creativity with technical feasibility.
  
  

• 2-4 years of hands-on HTML/CSS development for email marketing.
• Proven Klaviyo Experience: Minimum 2 years building/troubleshooting campaigns in Klaviyo (certification preferred).
• Email-Specific Coding Skills:
• Fluid hybrid layouts
• VML for Outlook compatibility
• Media query implementation
• ESP-specific conditional logic
• Tool Proficiency: Litmus/Email on Acid, GitHub, Photoshop/Figma, and ESPs (Klaviyo essential; Mailchimp/Salesforce a plus).
  
  

• Obsessive attention to detail for cross-client consistency.
• Ability to debug rendering issues in complex environments.
• Strong understanding of email marketing best practices (deliverability, CAN-SPAM).
• Proven experience with e-commerce email flows (post-purchase, cart abandonment).
  
  

• Klaviyo certification(s)
• Experience with Handlebars.js or email scripting
• Knowledge of MJML or other email frameworks
