Job Description

As a Legal Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert legal advice and support to our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the company's legal affairs are handled efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities

  • Represent the company in legal proceedings, negotiations, and regulatory matters.
  • Conduct legal research to support decision-making and policy development.
  • Collaborate with external legal teams and professionals on specialized matters.
  • Provide training and guidance on legal topics to internal staff and management.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and industry regulations impacting the business.
  • Develop and implement efficient contract management and dispute resolution processes.
  • Advise on corporate governance and company secretarial practices and procedures.
  • Support strategic projects by providing legal assessments and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal degree from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction with good standing.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate law within a legal environment.
  • Strong knowledge of legal principles, procedures, and business law practices.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing legal risks and disputes.
