Associate - Indirect Tax

Join our Indirect Tax team as an Associate and you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment. Our team works closely with various stakeholders in different regions to be able to perform tax compliance and tax accounting functions.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing global (India and Singapore) indirect tax returns. You will also manage several tax-related payments which includes: tax-related balance sheet reconciliations, posting month-end GST accounting entries, managing GST registration and audit queries, and assessing tax applicability on goods/services as per IDT laws.

What You Offer

• A graduate of commerce (B.Com, M.Com, MBA) with 1-2 years of experience and solid understanding of indirect tax concepts and related accounting entries
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and fundamental concepts; experience with India GST is advantageous
• Good knowledge of accounting systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A curious mindset and good stakeholder management skills with ability to build cross-border relationships while being comfortable working across different time zones
