A Preschool Teacher plays a pivotal role in fostering the early development and learning abilities of young children typically ranging from 3 to 5 years of age. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for providing safe and nurturing environments that encourage emotional, intellectual, and social growth. Your role involves creating vibrant lesson plans that are engaging and effectively help children in developing school readiness abilities. You are expected to strike a balance between fun and learning as you guide children through a variety of educational activities, games, and structured learning experiences. Through patience, enthusiasm, and a fundamental understanding of early childhood education, you will help prepare these young learners for the transition to elementary school, while also fostering a love for lifelong learning.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Certification as a preschool teacher or equivalent qualification, if applicable by location.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a preschool or early education setting.
• Strong understanding of early childhood education standards and guidelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage children and parents.
• Creative problem-solving skills and ability to create engaging lesson plans.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred for safety compliance.
