Job Description

As a Mobile Technician, you will be an essential part of our technology team, responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets. You'll work with the latest mobile technology, handling tasks that range from hardware to software issues, ensuring devices are running optimally. As technology evolves, so will your role, requiring you to stay updated with new mobile trends and repairs. You'll be interacting with a diverse clientele, requiring excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Your ability to combine technical expertise with customer service will be key in ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining the reputation of our service center.


Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mobile devices, ensuring they function optimally post-repair.
  • Replace broken or malfunctioning components, including screens, batteries, and cameras.
  • Update and install mobile software and operating systems to the latest versions.
  • Perform quality checks on all devices before declaring repairs complete.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and queries effectively.
  • Keep detailed records of all repairs, noting parts used and time taken.
  • Stay updated with the latest mobile device technology and repair methods.
  • Maintain an inventory of parts, ordering new stock as supplies run low.
  • Assist in training other technicians in new repair techniques and technologies.
  • Help develop new procedures and standards to improve repair efficiency.
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding repair progress.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a mobile technician or similar technical role.
  • Strong understanding and proficiency with mobile device hardware and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on resolving technical issues.
  • Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and schematics effectively.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts simply.
  • Willingness to stay updated on the latest mobile technology innovations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with technical certifications preferred.
