Job Description

As a Guest Service Associate in Housekeeping, you play a pivotal role in enhancing the experience of visitors and guests, ensuring that cleanliness and comfort are consistently maintained at the highest standard. This role is essential for creating a welcoming environment, as you will be responsible for upholding the hotel's cleanliness standards and addressing any guest requests promptly and courteously. Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to high standards.
  • Ensure all linens are changed daily and supplies replenished for guest comfort.
  • Inspect rooms for cleanness, damages, and report maintenance issues promptly.
  • Respond to guest requests and inquiries with courtesy and efficiency.
  • Stock and maintain housekeeping carts with adequate supplies and items.
  • Assist in laundry operations when necessary, including pressing and folding.
  • Follow all company safety and security procedures to ensure a secure environment.
  • Communicate effectively with the front desk to report room status and guest needs.
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in ongoing training opportunities.
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Adhere to health and hygiene regulations to guarantee the safety of guests.
  • Report lost and found items to the housekeeping manager for proper handling.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, previous housekeeping experience is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleaning standards.
  • Strong communication skills for effective guest interaction and teamwork.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Demonstrated ability to use cleaning equipment and products safely.
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
