Job Description

The Food & Beverage Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of a restaurant, bar, or any establishment serving food and beverages. This position requires excellent leadership and organizational skills to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring that all food and beverage operations adhere to the company’s standards. Your efforts will directly impact the overall customer experience, making it memorable and positive. Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house staff, you will ensure smooth service and handle any issues that arise swiftly and professionally. This role demands a person who can work in a fast-paced environment, has a keen eye for detail, and a passion for the food and beverage industry.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise food and beverage staff, ensuring efficient service and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills and service delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all F&B areas.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop attractive menus and specials.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints promptly to maintain satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for seamless operations.
  • Lead by example in guest service and F&B professionalism.
  • Prepare and manage F&B budgets, analyzing fluctuations and minimizing costs.
  • Conduct regular supervision of dining and service areas for quality assurance.
  • Assist in recruitment and training of new food and beverage team members.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an F&B Supervisor or in a similar role is required.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage staff.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Outstanding communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including health and safety standards.
  • Proficient in using restaurant management software and POS systems.
