Job Description

A Store Executive plays a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the daily operations within a retail environment. This position requires a dynamic individual with leadership skills, dedication, and the ability to work under pressure. Store Executives are responsible for maintaining the smooth flow of operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing inventory, and driving the overall success of the store. They are integral to hiring and training new staff, implementing store policies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Furthermore, Store Executives are charged with analyzing sales figures and market trends to optimize the store's profitability and productivity.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations and ensure all staff adhere to company policies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking of products as needed.
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate staff members for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and customer service quality.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining visual merchandising standards to optimize customer engagement and sales.
  • Prepare and manage the store's budget, balancing expenditures against revenue targets.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the store.
  • Manage promotional campaigns and in-store displays to maximize sales.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and implement corrective actions if necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the retail environment.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of inventory and special order items.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business administration is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a retail management or executive role is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills are essential for this position.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed for effective management.
  • Ability to handle and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and retail management software applications.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
