Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Engineering Manager to lead and drive our engineering teams towards achieving excellence in product development and innovation. As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in guiding cross-functional teams, ensuring that best engineering practices are followed, and aligning engineering operations with the strategic goals of the organization. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire engineering lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment, while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of engineering principles, and the ability to cultivate a collaborative environment that fosters creativity and growth among team members.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions on time.
  • Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to align engineering efforts with company goals.
  • Develop and implement engineering strategies that ensure the scalability and reliability of products.
  • Mentor and coach engineers to develop their soft and technical skills for career advancement.
  • Oversee the recruitment and onboarding of top engineering talent to build a strong team.
  • Ensure engineering processes comply with company standards and industry best practices.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages open communication and innovation.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to support engineer’s professional growth.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to maximize productivity and cost-efficiency.
  • Promote and ensure the adoption of agile methodologies for iterative and timely delivery.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering or related technical roles.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading engineering teams successfully.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with a collaborative management style.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with project management tools and techniques in an agile environment.
  • Previous experience working with cross-functional teams to drive complex projects.
  • Understanding of modern architectural patterns and cloud technologies is a plus.
