Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients’ medical histories to determine suitability for plastic surgery procedures.
  • Conduct detailed consultations to discuss surgical options and expected outcomes.
  • Develop comprehensive pre-operative plans with customized approaches for each patient.
  • Perform complex reconstructive surgeries to repair physical abnormalities or injuries.
  • Employ advanced cosmetic surgical techniques to enhance aesthetic appearance.
  • Oversee the administration of anesthesia and manage patient monitoring during surgeries.
  • Direct and manage the post-operative care and recovery specific to each patient.
  • Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure cohesive multidisciplinary patient care.
  • Stay abreast of new advancements in plastic surgery techniques and technology.
  • Participate in continuing education to maintain medical licensing and board certification.
  • Document patient records accurately and uphold confidentiality and safety standards.
  • Provide exceptional patient education and support throughout the surgical journey.

Requirements

  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school and specialization in plastic surgery.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical plastic surgery environment.
  • Valid state medical license and board certification in plastic surgery.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in performing a wide range of surgical procedures.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively discuss procedures and outcomes with patients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary medical team.
  • Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and patient confidentiality.
