Job Description

As an Instructor specializing in Technical and Safety training, your role is integral to fostering a safe and efficient working environment. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that enhance the technical skills and safety awareness of employees. You will work closely with different departments to ensure that training reflects current industry standards and legal regulations. Your expertise will help in crafting training materials, conducting workshops, and assessing the efficacy of training sessions. Your ultimate aim will be to minimize workplace hazards by instilling a culture of safety and ensuring all staff are proficient in necessary technical skills.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive technical and safety training programs for staff.
  • Conduct needs assessments to determine necessary training for enhancing skills and safety.
  • Create engaging and informative training materials, manuals, and workshops.
  • Ensure training curriculum complies with industry regulations and legal standards.
  • Facilitate workshops and hands-on sessions to reinforce practical skills.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and implement improvements.
  • Collaborate with department leads to align training with organizational goals.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new methods into training.
  • Provide feedback and coaching to trainees for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct risk assessments and advise on safety protocols to mitigate hazards.
  • Maintain meticulous records of training sessions and participant performance.
  • Coordinate with external experts for specialized training sessions when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Engineering, Safety Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in delivering technical and safety training programs.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and legal compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to develop engaging training materials and conduct interactive sessions.
  • Proficiency in using various training tools and technology-based platforms.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple training programs effectively.
