Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Analytical Chemist to join our team in the UAE. As an Analytical Chemist, you will be responsible for conducting various chemical analyses, interpreting results, and providing critical insights to support research, quality control, and product development. Your expertise in analytical techniques and instrumentation will contribute to maintaining high standards of accuracy and precision in our laboratory operations.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform a wide range of chemical analyses on samples using various analytical techniques, including chromatography, spectroscopy, and wet chemistry methods.
  • Operate and maintain analytical instruments and equipment, ensuring they are calibrated and functioning accurately.
  • Prepare samples for analysis, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Interpret and analyze data, ensuring accurate documentation of results and maintaining laboratory records.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and validate analytical methods for research, quality control, and product testing.
  • Identify and troubleshoot instrument malfunctions and method-related issues to ensure reliable results.
  • Participate in the development of new testing procedures and methodologies to improve analytical capabilities.
  • Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in analytical chemistry and instrumentation.
  • Communicate findings and results effectively to colleagues and stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Previous experience (X+ years) as an Analytical Chemist or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using various analytical instruments, such as HPLC, GC-MS, FTIR, UV-Vis spectrophotometers, etc.
  • Strong understanding of analytical techniques and methods, including quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Familiarity with laboratory safety practices and protocols.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a strong commitment to accuracy and precision.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot instrument issues and data anomalies.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software and laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to draw meaningful conclusions from complex data sets.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and quality control standards.
