Job Description

The Real Estate Manager is a pivotal role within an organization that involves overseeing the acquisition, leasing, management, and disposition of commercial and residential properties. This position requires a strategic thinker who possesses a strong understanding of real estate market trends, financial analysis, and property management. The manager works closely with stakeholders to ensure optimal utilization of properties, align real estate strategies with business goals, and drive revenue growth. Additionally, the Real Estate Manager is responsible for negotiating contracts, managing budgets, maintaining positive tenant relations, and ensuring compliance with local and national regulations. This role demands excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively and contribute to the organization's success.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the acquisition and disposition of real estate assets for the organization.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize property value and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing real estate activities.
  • Negotiate leases, contracts, and agreements with tenants and vendors effectively.
  • Maintain positive relations with tenants, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure properties are well-maintained and compliant.
  • Manage budgets and financial forecasts related to the real estate portfolio.
  • Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for investment and growth.
  • Coordinate with legal teams to handle property-related disputes and resolutions.
  • Lead due diligence efforts for potential acquisitions or property sales.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align real estate strategies with business objectives.
  • Prepare and present reports on real estate activities and market conditions to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate management or similar role.
  • Proven track record of successful property acquisition and management.
  • Strong understanding of real estate market trends and financial analysis.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office tools.
