YOUR IMPACT ___________

The Visual Merchandising trainee will join the regional Visual Merchandising division within the Marketing department based in Dubai and will report to the Visual Merchandising Executive.

The VM trainee will work closely with the Regional VM Team and various internal departments.

He/She/They will support the implementation of the retail marketing strategy across all markets.

The main mission is to assist the Visual Merchandising team in enhancing the image of the brand across the Middle East region with effective management and communicating of all brand guidelines through strong collaboration with regional partners.

Job responsibilities

YOUR MISSION ____________

Counter Visual Merchandising

  • Order, manage and share VM guidelines: Oversee the procurement, management, and distribution of key Visual Merchandising assets, including visuals, movies & content creation materials.
  • Maintain the VM database: Ensure up – to – date tracking and organization of the latest information on all our point of sales for the regional database.
  • Support Retail Guidelines Coordination: Assist with the coordination of retail and trade guidelines, according to the annual Marketing Calendar.

Point of Sales Openings

  • Assist with VM for Point-of-Sale Openings: Provide support to the VM team for point – of – sale openings, including managing VM books and coordinating local production.

Space Planning and Assortment

  • Support Regional VM Execution: Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team to align on seasonal timing and executions, ensuring a premium retail experience for the consumer across locations.
  • Create Planograms on IWD: Develop and implement the strategy for planogram assortments, ensuring alignment with retail objectives.

Newsletter & Communication

  • Create Internal VM Newsletter: Develop and distribute an internal Visual Merchandising newsletter for all markets, highlighting key VM assets, including guidelines, visual priorities, and movie loops tied to upcoming launches.
  • Collate Reports on VM Installations: Collect and summarize reports from local VM teams on brand installations, window displays, store openings, seasonal VM setups, and related events to track performance and consistency throughout the full Region.

Trade Animation

  • Monitor Brand and Competitor Activities: Stay up to date on both internal brand activities and external competitor’s movements. Compile and share bi-monthly competitor reports on VM and trade implementations across the region to inform on strategy.
  • Assist with VM Training Events: Coordinate and support VM training events, ensuring local teams are equipped with the latest tools and knowledge to execute VM strategies effectively.

Profile

WHO YOU ARE _________

  • University or business school degree.
  • Previous experience in similar role preferrable
  • Eye for detail and pro-active with a capacity to adapt to a fast-moving environment.
  • Creative and solution oriented
  • Strong planning and organizational skills which ensure timely and accurate execution of responsibilities
  • Strong communication skills to build strong relationships within a team and with all stakeholders
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
