Job Purpose

To oversee daily banking operations and manage all aspects of cash flow, foreign exchange dealings, cash forecasting, and treasury initiatives. Additionally, responsible for analyzing and executing suitable hedging and funding strategies, including forex, swaps, loans, and deposits, while ensuring effective cash and liquidity management through accurate planning and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for cash flow projections on monthly basis
• Ensure that efficient cash planning is put in place with funds made available to honour all the Group’s obligations in a timely manner and analyze short- and long-term cash surpluses and invest on an on-going basis.
• Evaluate financing proposals for funding requirements and review of facility documentation. Managing bank facilities, letters of credit and bank guarantees.
• Ensure timely reconciliations of banks and loan accounts of MMI and ELR Group entities
• Administration of banking platforms including signatory set-up is in line with bank mandate
• Document and maintain policies and operational procedures relating to the Treasury Operations

Required Qualification and Experience

• Qualified Accountant (CA/ACA/ACCA/CPA)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in (Corporate) Treasury including management and supervision of operational departments
• Experience working with or in an international group
• Liquidity management and risk management including forex and interest rate risk management
• Banking governance and control
• Good internal/external communicator being able to build strong relationships, influencing and presenting at a mid-senior level

Desirable Skills

• Prior work experience within the Middle East
