Job Description

As a Student Services Coordinator, you will play a vital role in enhancing the student experience by providing comprehensive support services designed to promote academic success, personal development, and student retention. The position requires developing, coordinating, and overseeing various aspects of student services and programs, utilizing your exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. You will act as a liaison between students and different departments, ensuring that student concerns are addressed promptly and effectively. Your responsibilities include offering guidance and support in academic, extracurricular, and personal areas, fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for a diverse student population. Collaborating with other staff members and stakeholders, you will implement strategies aimed at improving student engagement and satisfaction while adhering to institutional policies and procedures. Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage student support programs promoting academic success.
  • Coordinate orientation programs to assist new students in transitioning smoothly.
  • Serve as a point of contact for student inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
  • Collaborate with academic departments to ensure alignment of student services.
  • Plan and facilitate workshops addressing students' educational and personal needs.
  • Oversee student activities and events to foster community engagement.
  • Maintain updated records of student interactions and service plans.
  • Assist students with registration, enrollment, and course scheduling processes.
  • Provide guidance on financial aid resources and scholarship opportunities.
  • Coordinate with campus resources to offer counseling and support services to students.
  • Analyze student feedback to improve services and program effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies and relevant regulations.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in education, student services, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in academic or student services roles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail are essential requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in using student information systems and office software tools.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
