Job Description

The School Administration Officer plays an instrumental role in ensuring the seamless operation of a school. This role is designed to provide pivotal support in managing day-to-day administrative tasks. As the backbone of the school's administrative system, the School Administration Officer coordinates various functions to ensure efficiency. The individual in this role often serves as a point of contact between staff, students, parents, and external bodies. Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate school records, including student and staff databases.
  • Coordinate communication between teachers, parents, and external stakeholders efficiently.
  • Assist in planning and execution of school events and activities seamlessly.
  • Handle financial processes including budgeting, invoicing, and purchasing effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all educational policies and administrative regulations.
  • Oversee the recruitment process, from job postings to onboarding procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to school leadership and teaching staff as needed.
  • Manage the school's correspondence, including emails, letters, and communication materials.
  • Organize and maintain the filing system for efficient data retrieval and usage.
  • Address administrative inquiries from students, parents, and faculty promptly.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Administration, Education, or related field required.
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, particularly in educational settings.
  • Strong knowledge of office management processes and procedures preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in computer software such as MS Office and school management systems.
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
