A Structural BIM Technician plays a crucial role in the planning, design, and execution of building projects by leveraging Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. As a specialist in structural modeling, the technician ensures the creation, modification, and management of digitally-generated information files of a bachelor's structure plans. Responsibilities

• Create and manage accurate and detailed BIM models for structural systems.
• Coordinate and collaborate with architectural, MEP, and civil disciplines for integrated designs.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve design conflicts with multidisciplinary teams.
• Prepare and present detailed documentation to support construction and design phases.
• Maintain and update BIM model data to reflect design changes and construction phases.
• Ensure structural models comply with industry standards and company quality protocols.
• Generate construction documents and shop drawings from BIM models when needed.
• Assist project leaders and engineers with design and technical support as required.
• Configure and customize BIM templates to meet specific project requirements.
• Provide training and support to junior technicians and staff on BIM practices.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to understand project specifications and goals.
• Report on BIM deliverables progress and participate in project coordination meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Tekla, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles and engineering practices.
• Experience in creating, modifying, and managing BIM models for construction projects.
