Job Description

As a Store Manager in the Sports retail sector, you will lead a dynamic team to deliver outstanding customer service and drive exceptional sales performance within the store. You will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining the store's appearance and organization to reflect the brand's high standards. Leveraging your deep understanding of sports products and passion for the industry, you will motivate your team to exceed sales targets and provide an unparalleled shopping experience for customers. Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
  • Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control and merchandising.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and product knowledge.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Recruit, train, and develop new staff members, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Maintain the store's visual and cleanliness standards according to brand guidelines.
  • Create and manage schedules ensuring sufficient staffing during peak hours.
  • Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
  • Implement promotional events and marketing initiatives to drive traffic and sales.
  • Collaborate with the regional manager to align store goals with company objectives.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and pleasant environment for both staff and customers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar role in retail.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to drive performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with customers and staff.
  • Solid understanding of retail management best practices and procedures.
  • Ability to analyze sales trends and forecast future sales to optimize performance.
  • Passion for sports and knowledge of sports products is highly desirable.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.
