Project Summary

We’re launching one of our most ambitious creative experiences to date — a bold, design-led cultural project built for play, participation, and social impact. This freelance role is dedicated exclusively to securing and managing brand partnerships for this one-off, high-profile event.


The Sponsorship Manager will be responsible for identifying, securing, and managing sponsorship opportunities specific to this project. The role is revenue-focused and relationship-driven, requiring strategic thinking, creative pitching, and hands-on delivery.


What Success Looks Like

  • Securing 4–6 brand partners across key tiers within the project timeline
  • Building strategic relationships that align with the creative vision
  • Delivering all sponsor touch points on time, with measurable impact
  • Creating moments and partnerships that feel custom, not templated.


Key Responsibilities

Sponsorship Sales & Strategy

  • Develop the sponsorship strategy aligned with project goals and audience segments.
  • Identify and approach potential sponsors across sectors with tailored value propositions.
  • Prepare sponsorship decks, customized proposals, and pricing structures.
  • Meet and exceed sponsorship revenue targets within the defined project timeline.


Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project sponsors ensuring smooth onboarding, timely communication, and ongoing engagement.
  • Build relationships with sponsors to maximize activation and potential for future collaboration.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to fulfill all sponsor deliverables and activation requirements.


Proposal Development & Pitching

  • Lead the development of compelling sponsorship proposals and pitch presentations tailored to the project.
  • Craft narratives that align the sponsor’s brand objectives with the experience’s mission and audience.
  • Present and negotiate with senior stakeholders across corporate brands, government entities, and media agencies.


Activation & Delivery

  • Collaborate with event, production, and creative teams to ensure all sponsor commitments (branding, speaking slots, booth presence, digital placements, etc.) are executed flawlessly.
  • Monitor and report on sponsor ROI, engagement metrics, and performance deliverables post-event.
  • Manage on-site sponsor presence and engagement during the live experience.


Market Intelligence & Lead Generation

  • Build and maintain a lead list of relevant sponsors aligned with the project vision.
  • Stay updated on market trends, brand campaigns, and partnership movements within relevant industries.
  • Leverage industry networks, events, and contacts to source potential sponsors.


Working Style

  • Work independently with high ownership of deliverables and timelines
  • Collaborate closely with the founders and creative team on strategy and execution
  • Flexible hours with regular check-ins and milestone tracking
  • Access to in-house design and content support for proposal and activation development


Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in sponsorship sales, partnership management, or business development (preferably within events, media, or brand activations).
  • Experience managing short-term, high-impact projects with tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated success in closing high-value sponsorships.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong proposal writing and presentation design (PPT, Canva, Keynote).
  • Familiarity with the UAE market and sponsor landscape.
  • Based in Dubai and available for immediate freelance engagement.


Note: This is a freelance position for a specific 3-month project. There is potential for future collaboration depending on project outcomes.
