A Software Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist is a critical part of the software development team, ensuring that the products meet the highest standards of quality before they reach the end users. As a QA Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. This crucial role collaborates with software developers and project managers to identify system requirements and track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. Responsibilities

• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Collaborate closely with other team members and departments to resolve issues.
• Conduct regression testing on applications to ensure software functionalities remain intact.
• Identify, record, document, and track bugs thoroughly throughout the development lifecycle.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to continuous process improvements.
• Perform thorough testing of applications, including functional, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Analyze test results, identify trends, and report issues to developers for prompt review.
• Utilize feedback to develop procedures that improve quality assurance testing strategies.
• Ensure the effective adoption and maintenance of quality standards throughout the project.
• Prepare and present reports and metrics such as KPIs to key stakeholders.
• Keep abreast of developments in testing tools, methodologies, and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in software quality assurance or software development roles.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate technical information.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with automated testing tools is highly desirable, though not mandatory.
