What You’ll Be Doing

• Creating new features using Python and Django to transform traditional people processes into being more user-friendly and purely digital
• Writing scalable and easily maintainable code, following the highest standards agreed in the community
• Supporting multi-tenancy (multiple customers) while ensuring adequate security and data isolation
• Refactoring and optimising existing implementation
• Creating new reusable software components that contribute to the overall platform
• Promoting a culture of product quality by identifying bugs and issues before our customers do
  
  

What Youll Need

• 5+ years of experience working as a Software Engineer
• 3+ years of engineering experience with Python as your primary language
• An academic background in a STEM subject
• Fluency in Python, SQL, and other OOPLs
• Experience with Django framework
• Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Experience with API development and integration
• A practical understanding of distributed systems
• The ability to write concurrent code in IO/CPU bound situations
• Experience with Docker, K8s, Ansible, CI, monitoring, and alerting

• Experience with prototyping and sketching
• Multiple side projects or open source contributions
• Exposure to GCP
• Experience with web projects or SaaS platforms
