Job Description

As a Service Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the sales of our engineering services and solutions. You will engage with clients to understand their needs, promote our service offerings, and build long-term relationships that enhance client satisfaction and loyalty. Your ability to combine technical knowledge with strong sales acumen will be key to identifying and securing new business opportunities. You will work closely with the technical and engineering teams to ensure that customer requirements are met and that delivery excellence is achieved. This position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving, a deep understanding of our service offerings, and a commitment to achieving sales targets.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the service sales market.
  • Engage with potential and existing clients to assess their service needs.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure service offerings meet client specifications.
  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to customer needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure mutual satisfaction and profitability.
  • Analyze market trends to identify potential growth areas and new service opportunities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the engineering services market and competitors.
  • Manage client accounts and ensure timely follow-up on service delivery and support.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and reports to monitor and report on sales performance.
  • Provide customer feedback to the product development team to enhance service offerings.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field is required.
  • Proven experience in a sales role, preferably in engineering services or solutions.
  • Strong understanding of technical and engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close contracts successfully.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed.
