Senior Project Manager

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for orchestrating the deployment of our flagship platforms, including SecurePath and Shahin, for key government and enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of complex software engineering projects, telematics hardware integration, and the demands of operating in high-security, high-availability environments. You will be instrumental in ensuring that Emcode’s solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to the exacting standards required by our partners in national security, public safety, and critical logistics.

●      Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale telematics and IIoT projects, from initial client engagement and scope definition to final deployment and handover.

●      Develop comprehensive project plans, defining project scope, goals, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.

●      Manage the entire project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to both agile and traditional project management methodologies to guarantee predictable, high-quality outcomes.

●      Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and ensuring clear, consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.

●      Collaborate closely with the Software Engineering, AI, and Product teams to ensure technical solutions are aligned with client requirements and Emcode’s strategic vision.

●      Oversee the integration of telematics hardware (e.g., advanced tracking devices, eSeals) with our SaaS and PaaS platforms, ensuring seamless performance and reliability.

●      Manage risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing proactive mitigation strategies to avoid project delays and ensure operational continuity for our clients.

●      Ensure all projects comply with stringent regulatory standards, including those from SIRA, RTA, and DESC, and adhere to our commitment to data sovereignty.

●      Interface with senior stakeholders from government entities (e.g., Dubai Police, Dubai Customs) and major enterprise clients (e.g., Transguard Group, RTA, Dubai Ports) to ensure project alignment with their strategic objectives.

●      Lead cross-functional project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and engineering excellence.

●      Provide regular, detailed project status reports to the executive leadership team, highlighting progress, financial health, and strategic risks.

●      Contribute to the continuous improvement of Emcode’s project management processes and best practices.

●      A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

●      8+ years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 5 years managing complex, enterprise-grade software and hardware integration projects in the telematics, IoT, or fleet management industry.

●      Proven track record of successfully delivering high-value technology projects for government, defense, or large-scale enterprise clients.

●      Demonstrable experience managing projects with significant software development components, including SaaS/PaaS models and microservices architecture.

●      In-depth knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum, PMP/PRINCE2). PMP or a similar certification is required.

●      Experience managing projects that involve Big Data Analytics, cloud infrastructure, and mission-critical systems with high uptime requirements (e.g., 99.99%).

●      Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior government officials and C-level executives.

●      Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of telematics ecosystems, including GPS hardware, sensors, IIoT, geospatial analytics, and secure cloud architecture.

●      Leadership: A decisive and motivational leader with the proven ability to guide cross-functional technical teams in a high-pressure, mission-critical environment.

●      Communication Skills: Superior verbal and written communication skills in English; professional fluency in Arabic is highly advantageous.

●      Problem-Solving: A strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate challenges, analyze complex problems, and implement effective, scalable solutions.

●      Financial Acumen: Proficient in budget management, financial tracking, and resource forecasting for large-scale technical projects.
