About The Role

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Senior Operations Executive / Supervisor to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of complex port calls for our global government clients. This role requires a proactive professional with strong operational knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to act as a point of escalation and guidance for junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end operational execution of port calls, ensuring compliance with client SOPs, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Supervise and mentor junior analysts and coordinators in the team; provide day-to-day support and guidance.
  • Serve as the operational point of contact for critical client accounts and internal regional offices.
  • Handle escalations and operational contingencies with a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Ensure all documentation, invoicing inputs, and operational logs are accurate and timely.
  • Coordinate with global teams, vendors, and service providers to align expectations and resolve issues.
  • Analyse operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • 6–10 years of experience in maritime, defence, or logistics operations, preferably with exposure to government or naval contracts.
  • Prior experience handling Navy ship port calls or complex vessel movements is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of port procedures, customs, local regulations, and logistics coordination.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and operational reporting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—verbal, written, and client-facing.
  • Ability to take initiative, delegate tasks, and lead by example.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and making decisions independently.
