JOB TITLE

Senior Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis | Holding | Finance

Role Summary

The position is responsible for efficient, effective and comprehensive financial plans and analytics that link to corporate strategic objectives and target settings. The position is responsible to perform in-depth complex financial analysis, issuing recommendations and executive commentaries for senior management which acts as a strategic support to enhance the decision making. The position manages Holding Consolidated overall budgeting and strategic planning process.

ROLE PROFILE

  • Analysis and Value Creation : Perform analysis that identifies value creation opportunities across the business
  • Coordinate with OpCos for timely collection of data/information and prepare additional analysis on Bleeders/loss-making stores, various returns (e.g. ROIC, ROCE, ROE and ROA), forecast, budget and post investment analysis
  • Business Insights & Strategic Support :Responsible for performing independent and robust financial analysis for monthly management reports, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets and long-term strategic plans.
  • Formulate and monitor Key performance business indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of change or negative variances and provide recommendations to facilitate superior decision making
  • Financial Control & Stewardship : Manage the Annual budget and Strategic plan processes. i.e. Issuance of Assumptions (inflation, FX rates and timelines), consolidation, analyzing OpCo/BU submissions, and communicating Financial targets approved by the ma
  • Ensure alignment of OpCo/BU plans with Corporate Strategy and overall business goals, Perform SWOT analysis and provide recommendations to create /enhance the shareholder value
  • Prepare Executive story boarding, business review presentations, Management /Board updates on forecasts, budgets & strategic financial plan.
  • Developing Talent & People : Act as a central point of contact for all FP&A resources across the group (OpCos/BUs)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business finance, economics, or applied mathematics.
  • Qualified Finance professional – ACA, CPA, CFA qualified is desirable.
  • At least 5 years’ experience of independently leading & managing budgeting & financial planning cycle at enterprise level of comparable size of organization. Experience in real estate and Retail industry is preferred
  • Exceptional analytical and financial analysis skills with passion for details and “digging in”
  • Excellent communication, presentation and excel skills
  • Proven ability to work independently as an individual contributor (100%), without the support of directreport team members
