Senior Financial Analyst (225-630)

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating financial data, preparing reports, and presenting strategic recommendations to enhance business operations and performance. You will support senior management by building comprehensive financial models, analyzing trends, and providing insights that aid in decision-making. Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and provide insights to drive strategic business decisions.

• Prepare detailed financial reports and executive summaries for senior management review.
• Work closely with department heads to understand and improve financial performance.
• Identify financial trends and variances and recommend necessary actions or adjustments.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes by ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct operational analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains.
• Participate in strategic planning initiatives and contribute to long-term financial strategy.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies in all financial activities.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior financial analysts within the team.
• Assist in the preparation and presentation of financial forecasts and budgets.
• Collaborate with IT to automate and improve financial data collection and reporting systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proven experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial software applications.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
• Experience with data analysis tools and business intelligence software is a plus.
