As a Senior Planning Manager, you will be instrumental in leading the development and execution of comprehensive media plans across various platforms. You will leverage industry-leading tools and technologies to analyse market trends and audience insights, creating strategies that deliver impactful results. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure high-quality media planning and seamless execution, while also managing project timelines and objectives. In addition to supporting business growth, you will mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

A Typical Day Will Include

  • Providing high standard and quality service to our clients in understanding their requirements and needs.
  • Work with the team to create media plans that integrate all aspects of media: TV, Print, Radio, Outdoor, Interactive, and Emerging Technologies.
  • Devising both online and offline media strategies fulfilling client/brief objectives.
  • Developing and managing Media budgets.
  • Liaising with the Investment team to ensure that buying commitments are achieved.
  • Responsibility for supervision and line management of junior team members of the planning team.
  • Providing recommendations and analysis on targeting, geography, scheduling, support level, and budget.
  • Executing campaigns on a timely basis and prepare campaign summary and analysis.
  • Maintaining media schedules and tracking the placement of broadcast, print, internet, and OOH buys to ensure the accuracy of emerging media opportunities and incorporate them into media plans.
  • Maintaining communication/integration with multiple agency partners (creative, account, web, promotions, media buying, research)
  • Managing relationships with vendors.
  • Effectively applying rationale and logic when constructing media plans, create competitive reports using in-depth analysis and understanding of implications.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, Media, Communications, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in media planning or strategy, with a focus on both digital and traditional media.
  • Strong proficiency in media planning and research tools (e.g., OP TV, CWEB, Optinet, Google Analytics, TGI, Brand Index, etc.).
  • Experience in developing and presenting media strategies and reports to clients and internal teams.
  • Strong communication and client management skills, with the ability to confidently interact with senior clients and stakeholders.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving and campaign optimization.
  • A solid understanding of the media landscape, including both traditional and digital channels.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
