Senior Engineer - Fire Safety

The team works in real time to make sure the right people are in the right place – airside and landside – to meet demand. As our airports are the world’s busiest, it’s fast-paced and a real challenge. They see that the operational plan is followed, and issues are dealt with across terminals, regular operations, incidents and crisis handling. The operation has to be industry-leading, and it always is.

What You’ll Deliver

• Youll consult, review, and approve architectural Fire & Life Safety plans and strategies in line with UAE Fire Code and other applicable standards
• Youll review and approve technical specifications for the various fire and life safety materials/ systems.
• Youll support the development and enhancement of standards, policies, and guidelines for departmental functions and fire safety management in DA
• Youll consult and provide technical inputs for the various technical documentation submitted by the internal & external stakeholders.
• Youll conduct fire safety training and awareness programs for clients, contractors, and building occupants
  
  

and promote a community fire safety culture and best practices.

What You Bring

• You’ll be educated to a Bachelors degree in Fire Engineering, acquired 5 - 3 years of relevant experience and 7 - 10 years of overall experience
• You’ll have excellent Analytical & Problem-Solving skills.
• You’ll have excellent communication skills and technical writing.
• You’ll have Civil defense certification or CFPS certifications from NFPA
• You’ll have technical knowledge of AutoCAD; or related systems.
