About the Job:

In this role you will own the performance system for acquiring: KPIs, budgeting/forecasting, execution tracking, and continuous improvement across POS, e-commerce gateway, SoftPOS, QR, pay-by-link, subscriptions/invoicing, payouts/settlements, and VAS (DCC, BNPL, loyalty, analytics, fraud/3DS, tokenization, wallets incl. Apple/Google/Samsung Pay, Aani)

Provide a single source of truth for portfolio, product, partner (PSP), and sector performance; translate data into board-ready decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

KPI Framework & Performance Management

  • Design and maintain a KPI hierarchy (portfolio → product → partner → sector → merchant cohort)
  • Define clear formulas & targets: TPV, Txns, ATS, Txn Margins, Net Take Rate (bps), Net Revenue, Contribution, NPS.
  • Build executive dashboards (monthly/quarterly) and traffic-light (R/Y/G) scorecards; drive Monthly Business Reviews.

Budgeting, Forecasting & P&L Analytics

  • Create and drive models for TPV, mix, MDR, interchange, scheme fees, processing, rev-share, CAPEX, OPEX, etc.
  • Produce annual budget, quarterly re-forecasts, and scenario analysis.
  • Deliver variance analysis (vs plan/YoY) with root causes and corrective actions.

Execution & PMO for Strategic Initiatives

  • Translate strategy into KPIs, milestones, owners, timelines; track slippage and unblock.
  • Run execution cadences for APM rollouts (wallets/Aani), SoftPOS expansion, cross-border optimization, pricing changes, reliability SLAs, and onboarding acceleration.
  • Maintain a PSP/initiative roadmap with quantified KPI uplift and ROI.

PSP & Partnership Analytics

  • Create one-page partner scorecards: scale, economics, quality, risk, ops, strategic value, and decision asks (keep/scale/exit).

Product & VAS Economics

  • Model unit economics per product/feature (e.g., DCC, BNPL attach, loyalty, fraud tools).
  • Run pricing studies, elasticity tests; recommend re-pricing with P&L impact.

Gap Analysis & Continuous Improvement

  • Map as-is processes (onboarding, risk, settlements, disputes, support); identify data/process/control gaps.
  • Prioritize fixes via cost–benefit; document changes with clear before/after KPIs.
  • Lead post-incident RCAs and prevention plans.

Executive Communication

  • Produce CEO/Board packs with business drivers, decisions and outcomes

Convert analytics into actionable recommendations with quantified KPI lift, investment ask, and timeline.

  • Primarily office-based with occasional travel required for meetings, conferences, and training sessions.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: MBA (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Fintech / Banking / any industry, with at least 2 years in a commercial / pricing / business analysis role.
  • Proven track record of understanding, interpreting and communicating data based decisions
  • Strong understanding of data analysis and tools.
