Job Description

Network & Security Infrastructure team is responsible for designing, building and operating datacenters and core Network security platforms to support all payment processing solutions and systems across the organization

Responsibilities

The design, Implementation and operations support role is accountable to ensure the availability, performance, security and risks related to all Network and Security infrastructure platforms and solutions in use. The job responsibilities include:

• Design, implement and manage network infrastructure platforms at all global locations employing industry accepted standards mandatory for the critical payment processing infrastructure.
• Work closely with Information Technology Management to determine business process and productivity needs and define appropriate technology strategy to support business goals
• Implement and support projects including datacenter and network security solutions.
• Monitor and optimize global networks and perform capacity planning of the WAN services.
• Implement resilience across the network infrastructure to support business operations and maintain security standards and best practices.
• Conform to IT policies regarding operational procedures and ensure compliance.
• Work with vendors, upper management, and leadership teams to ensure smooth service processes.
• Plan and schedule Infra project guidelines and goals while ensuring timelines are met
• Recommend network & security platform enhancements aligning with IT strategy and business plans.
• Performs security reviews and mitigate findings of risk assessments on the network and security platforms.
• Enhance the existing network and recommend new technologies to improve performance, availability, efficiency and quality of Service
  
  

• Design & Architect Network & Security solutions for On-Premises and cloud datacenter platforms
• Integration of Network & Security platforms and adhere security and regulatory compliance for transaction processing environments
• Closely work with the ISP’s and ensure the global connectivity links & infrastructure is resilient
  
  

• Ensure that availability of services exceed the defined service levels.
• Maintain Network security infrastructure environment and ensure no impact to the business requirements defined performance levels.
• Review performance regularly and ensure proactive actions and communication to avoid disruption to services.
  
  

• Ensure that changes to Network security are managed and operated within the agreed service levels.
• Ensure that changes to the platforms are performed within the architecture guidelines.
  
  

• Provide L2/L3 support for incidents and problems in close coordination with all relevant stakeholders
• Ensure incidents and problems do not impact on the agreed service levels.
  
  

• Manage all licenses related to Network and Security Infra within the scope
• Ensure licenses are renewed on a regular basis.
  
  

• Ensure disaster recovery capabilities are built and maintained for the critical Network & Security infrastructure and for all external & Internal connectivity supporting the business platforms.
• Work closely with all application and business teams to achieve overall disaster recovery and continuity to suit organizational needs.
  
  

• Educated to Degree level from a recognized university in computer science or relevant subject in technology. Preferably holds an Engineering degree.
  
  

• At least 8-10 years of experience in Technology / IT function in a recognized international organization. Financial services industry is mandatory and Middle East experiences highly desirable.
• At least 3 years of operating at management level managing geographically distributed teams.
• Excellent knowledge of data center technology, designing and operating data centers, at Tier 3 standards.
• Proven expertise in Routing & Switching, Security Infrastructure, Cloud platforms (Azure, OCI, AWS)
• Expert knowledge in TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, Firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet), VPN, Proxy, IPS, F5 WAF and load balancers
• Understanding of security and operational requirements for datacenter and network infrastructure to support PCI -DSS and regulatory standards
• Working knowledge on defining operational processes and procedures.
• Experience in managing services based on ITIL or similar framework
• Excellent troubleshooting and analysis skills of complex network problems
• Mandatory experience in public cloud networking – Azure, AWS, OCI
• Mandatory Industry certifications - CCIE/CCNP / CISSP
