The Senior Accountant plays a critical role within the finance team by handling complex accounting tasks and providing financial insights to guide business decisions. Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.

• Conduct detailed account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Coordinate and oversee the end-to-end financial close process each month.
• Develop financial forecasts and assist in budgeting processes with department heads.
• Manage and oversee internal audits to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Provide financial analyses and insights for strategic planning and decision-making processes.
• Monitor accounting discrepancies, investigate issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and training as necessary.
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure efficient and successful audit processes.
• Review financial data for accuracy and integrity before submission for final reports.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in financial regulations affecting the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• A minimum of five years of professional accounting experience is essential.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation strongly preferred for this role.
• Demonstrated proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel is a must.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
